I like to fixate on details, I use them to structure my world. The statements in my works are silent reflections, a viewpoint is presented but does not require action.

Artist Statement
In the beginning, there was a forest, a farm and a stack of A4 printouts. The little artist drew on milking towels with permanent markers and on used envelopes with two-centimetre long crayons. After my childhood drawings switched to a high school diploma, I chose visual arts as my profession.

In vocational college I learned to paint, in polytechnic to think. Along with the brush and pens came stone working and jewelry. My artistic eco-compartment expanded from two-dimensional to three-dimensional.

My art is figurative, often carrying themes of nature. Also typical of my works are the words playfulness, the joy of realization and the surprise of the material. I like to fixate on details, I use them to structure my world. The statements in my works are silent reflections, a viewpoint is presented but does not require action.
